3 steps to become a coder

3 steps to become a coder

Software Engineer by profession is one of the highest paying jobs in the world. Unless in other professions, anyone can become a software professional by making sure of having these 3 things. You can apply these tricks to anything you would like to learn.

  1. Curiosity towards how things are working.
  2. Having a little amount of time.
  3. Having Patience.
  4. (Optional) Folks like you.

Curiosity towards how things are working.

This is the first thing, probably every coder should have. For example, take any app like WhatsApp. Have you ever wondered how the WhatsApp application works behind the scenes? How the messages are being sent and how the messages are being received by the opposite people. How the statuses are disappearing in 24 hours etc., Answer for all of these are "You can!". Yes, anything could be possible. You can develop your own software for the web, mobile, pc that solves the human problem.

If the Instagram creator thought, why I should create a social media app since the whole world is obsessed with Facebook. Then the impact created by Instagram would never exists.

Having a little amount of time.

Investing time for good is probably the best investment in the world. If you want to become a good coder then you must invest your time for it. The outcome will make you really proud. Anyone can start coding at any time, the best time to learn to code for the students is right when you are in college. Spending at least 1 - 2 hours learning some coding stuff can make you programmer really quick. Find your goal or domain. Start to find the right tutorials for it. Purchase it. I recommend you to follow only a single author initially. Jumping over multiple tutorials drags you towards tutorial hell. Practice is better than reading or listening.

Quick tip: While started learning coding, just make sure you have fresh notebook and a pen with you. Studying in early morning will be more efficient.

Patience

I saw a many of my friends who gave up at the initial stage when they could not understand some programming concepts. And I saw so many people initially hate programming and when they were convinced to learn it, they felt it is so easy. I swear, If you know the basics, you can easily crack any kind of problems..

You don't have to be Fast and Furious just keep in mind "Slow and steady wins the race".

(Optional) Folks like you.

Learning with friends is obviously fun and more engaging. You can  start checking your friends circle who has curiosity, time and patience. Try discussing the concepts, because knowledge is the only thing that never lose while sharing with others.
